ETD Training Goes Live with Complete Range of Online CDM Courses
ETD Training is delighted to announce the launch of the CDM 2015 – The Principal Contractor/Contractor(s) Course. This course completes our training range for key duty holders listed in the CDM 2015 regulations: Clients, Principal Designers/Designers, and Principal Contractors/Contractors.
CDM 2015 – Principal Contractor(s) Course Objectives
On completion of the course, delegates should understand the:
- Obligations placed on all persons by the CDM regulations
- Extent and benefits of effective risk assessments and method statements
- Requirements for the construction phase plan and site health and safety management
- Skills, knowledge, experience and capability requirements and how these can be verified
Before starting the online CDM 2015 – Principal Contractor/Contractor(s) Course, we advise that you complete the CDM 2015 Overview Course to gain an overall appreciation of the CDM Regulations and the changes made since the 2007 regulations.
What Next?
Though this course completes the training range for CDM duty holders, ETD is planning a new course that focuses on building information modelling (BIM) and PAS compliance. We look forward to adding this to our training portal soon.
“With this new CDM course in place, we are in a position to market to the construction industry, offering effective and detailed training about the key roles within the CDM regulations. There is an alarming amount of construction firms out there taking the responsibility of the Principal Designer or Principal Contractor without really knowing what their legal requirements are,” says ETD’s Managing Director Phil Gutteridge.
“Furthermore, it’s alarming that a number of construction consultancy firms are still referring to the old 2007 regulations, and we want to try and put a stop to that. We want to offer companies this course as an “affordable” option. It will be included as part of our offering for the £12+ VAT for full access to over 30 other courses. We feel it is important for companies to take this course seriously, the same as all our other courses.”
Easy-Access, Fully Approved Courses
All of ETD’s online courses (including the CDM 2015 Principal Contractor/Contractor(s) Course) are approved both internally, by our own health and safety consultants, and externally, by CPD and IIRSM.
Not only are all our courses up-to-date, professional and engaging, but we have ensured that delegates can complete our online training anywhere and at any time. All delegates need is an internet connection. Plus, all online training is fully mobile responsive, meaning delegates can complete the courses on iPads and mobile phones, as well as laptops and PCs.
